We enjoy living on a small Blueberry Farm that has been operated by our family since 1949.
In 2008, our first Tibetan Mastiff, Heidi, joined our family. We started showing at AKC shows in 2010.
We have been involved with breeding and showing ever since!
Tibetan Mastiffs are our only breed and we are involved in all aspects of preserving and protecting the breed.
In addition to our own dogs, we occasionally open our home to rescue and foster Tibetan Mastiffs
from our area until their forever homes can be found.
Every year since 2012, we had at least one Tibetan Mastiff that was bred or owned by us in the
AKC Top 40 Breed Points Systems. Several were in the Top 20. In 2022, a dog bred by us achieve a #6 ranking.
Conforming to the breed standard is important to us. We also consider dog temperament and health to be just as valuable as our AKC Championships.
We test for hip and elbow dysplasia, inherited thyroid disorders, and inherited eye disorders as recommended by the American Tibetan Mastiff Association.
Like anyone else, we know we can't breed a "perfect" dog. We strive to produce dogs with sound structure and good health, by starting with parents that are tested for inherited health conditions, have sound temperaments, and sound structure. We are proud to make our dogs' health test results avaialable to the public on the The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals website.
The puppies we produce and their owners are important as well. We offer life-long consultation to our puppy buyers, and if needed, we will take back or help with rehoming any of our pups throughout their lifetime.
Our website is under construction. We will be adding photos and more information soon!
